Integration Joint Board Communication & Engagement Strategy
The Integration Joint Board (IJB) believes that increasing wellbeing and reducing health inequalities depends on patients, carers, other service-users, groups, staff and partners being kept up-to-date on service developments and being able to influence changes to services.
The Communication and Engagement Strategy, approved by the IJB on 21 January 2020, sets out the IJB's commitment and approach to effective communication and engagement for the next three years.
The strategy is designed to help health and social care officers plan community engagement and to show communities and stakeholders what they can reasonably expect from the IJB in terms of being kept informed and being able to make their views known.
This strategy replaces the previous Participation and Engagement Strategy, approved by the IJB on 31 January 2017.
