Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019
The aim of the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019 is to ensure that there are enough staff in all health and care services to provide safe and high-quality care for service users and those experiencing care. Local Authorities and Integration Authorities must now report on how they follow this legislation when planning or securing care services. They must also publish an annual report on all the services they started in the previous year.
