Jobs in Support at Home Service

Our Support at Home service works across West Lothian and is delivered 365 days a year. Its main function is to support people to be able to stay in their own homes, help those who need to be discharged from hospital to be able to go home and assess people for care at home supports in the community.

No two days are ever the same in Support at Home. As the name suggests much of what you will be doing is about supporting people in their own homes. The service includes tasks such as:

  • Helping clients with personal care
  • Helping with medication
  • Assisting people with their mobility
  • Helping with daily tasks such as meal preparation

You will often be working on your own, but there will be times when you will also work as part of a small team. The job requires you to travel around West Lothian, and you will have multiple clients to see in a day.

We offer a range of shift patterns including evening and weekend work.

No previous experience or qualifications are necessary, and all training will be provided by our in-house training team to give you the required skills and confidence to enable you to begin your career as a home carer.
