West Lothian HSCP offers many types of services to people across the community, including residential care, care at home and housing support. Services mostly support adults, but we also have jobs that support younger people too.
Upon recruitment we will carry out a Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme record check and you will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) (opens new window) within 6 months of taking up post. As a registered professional, there is a requirement that you obtain the appropriate qualification for the role e.g., SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, within a set timescale, which we will support you to achieve.
