As part of the Winter Vaccination Programme, all eligible staff are invited to get their free seasonal vaccinations.

We recommend that you get your jabs as soon as possible to ensure you, and those in your care, are well protected.

There has been an increased focus on protecting those at highest risk of becoming seriously ill from flu and COVID-19. There have also been changes to call up dates to ensure maximum protection to these groups over the winter months.

Vaccination is required every year because flu viruses are constantly changing and your level of protection against COVID-19 may have reduced since your last vaccine. The vaccines offered will give you the best possible protection against the viruses likely to be circulating in winter.

The following staff groups are eligible for vaccination against flu and COVID-19:

• Frontline health and social care workers
• Residents and staff in care homes for older adults

The following staff groups are eligible for flu vaccination this year:

• Non-frontline health and social care workers

Appointments can be booked via the online portal or by calling the National Vaccination Helpline on 0800 030 8013.
