Workforce Planning

Developing our Workforce plan 2022-2025.

Thank you to everyone that took the time to complete the e-survey that we ran between 18th October to 24th December 2021.

The ten-week engagement exercise resulted in 553 individual comments in response to our four questions. The four questions we asked you were:

  • What does good look like in your service?
  • What skills will our workforce need for the future?
  • What do you want out of your career in West Lothian and how can we support it? 
  • Any other comments?

We had a great response from all our staffing groups, with wide representation across the HSCP workforce.2022 workforce dev survey participation data

The comments and feedback we received from the survey are being combined with those we gained from our focused meetings held with senior and group managers between October and December and with the additional engagement work we carried out with schools and community groups.

Our next step is to complete a thematic analysis of all the data we have collected. The identified themes will then be used to determine the actions that will support the West Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership Workforce Plan 2022-2025.
