Service User Representation Opportunities

Service and service user representation positions within the IJB

Do you use adult health and/or social care services in West Lothian?

The West Lothian Integration Joint Board (IJB) is looking for users of health care services and social care services to join the IJB's Strategic Planning Group (SPG) to contribute their views and experiences to the planning of adult health and social care services in West Lothian.

The IJB oversees the delivery of a range of adult health and social care services carried out on its behalf by the West Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership. The SPG is responsible for developing the IJB's strategic plan, including strategic commissioning priorities, organisational development and taking account of communities' needs in different localities in West Lothian. It helps to ensure that services are built around the needs of patients and service users, and supports service redesign with a focus on preventative and anticipatory care in communities.

We need your help to design services in a way that suits the needs of West Lothian communities. Join us to contribute your experience of health or social care services and to act as the spokesperson for other people who access these services.

Meetings are 6 to 7 times per year and you will have the advice and support of staff and other group members to help you to take part.
