Food Train is a registered charity, voluntary organisation, and social enterprise. Food Train provide a range of services, delivered by volunteers, to older people in West Lothian including:

Shopping Delivery- A weekly grocery delivery service where volunteers visit to collect a shopping list, make up the order in the local supermarket and deliver the groceries later that week, unpacking and putting away where needed.

Food Train Extra- A service offering help and support with practical everyday household tasks which may include window cleaning, changing bedding, freezer defrosting, etc..

Food Train Library- Drop off and return of library books for anyone who is unable to access their local library due to poor health, poor mobility, fragility, or disability.

Meal Makers- Local people cook and share extra portions of their own home cooked food with an older person living nearby who could benefit from warm meals and increased social interaction.
